ROK Talk Show: rewatch the episode reserved to the round 6 of the ROK Cup Italy

24-07-2024

The 2024 season of the ROK Talk Show, the web programme dedicated to the ROK Cup by Vortex after-races, goes on with another great success in terms of audience. Nearly 35,000 people (survey of July 23rd, 2024) followed the seventh episode, broadcast in first view on our Facebook page last Thursday 18th July, at 9pm, confirming the great interest in the championship and the karting world.

Once again, the magnifying glass returns to the ROK Cup Italy, on track for the night event at South Garda Karting in Lonato del Garda (BS), last July 13th. As always, the numerous drivers in the studio, guests of Mara Sangiorgio (Sky Sport F1 journalist and great karting enthusiast), told about the race weekend in detail in all the six categories (Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK, Expert ROK, Super ROK and Shifter ROK).

With two victories and a second place in the last three races, David Moscardi is aiming to end the year among the top three places in the Mini ROK standings and to attend the ROK Cup Superfinal, scheduled from 15 to 19 October. Giulio Mazzolini, on the other hand, has to face the last two rounds of the season, decisive for the Junior ROK title, which sees him involved in a head-to-head with Lyuboslav Ruykov: ‘He is a great driver, very fast. He is strong, but so are we.’

The ROK Talk Show is also an opportunity to discuss and deepen various technical aspects. Valuable in this respect are the talks of Alberto Bernardi (Senior ROK) and Riccardo Pedrola (Expert ROK), who explain how best to tackle a demanding event like the ‘night race’ at Lonato del Garda, both in terms of set-up and physical aspects.
