Jan Krencisz Rok Talent Award winner for KFJ. Many dreams to make come true

Despite the tiny body, Jan Krencisz is a very young Rokker driver much scrappy and determined. On the occasion of the International final he competed in the Rok Junior class, and performed many overtakings and few mistakes. And it is just his determination and the ability not to do mistakes that allowed the young Polish driver to show off to the attentive jury panel, which elected him winner of the Rok Talent Award 2013.
Jan will have the doors of the official Vortex team open, to attend some international competitions.
“When I was informed about my win I was very happy, I was still in Italy, at Castelletto di Branduzzo, for the WSK Final Cup. As I said I was very happy and I realized my dream was coming true, and now I can’t wait to be part of the Vortex team.”

In the Rok Junior category you’ve been the leader for a lot of time, even though you’re so young. What is your opinion about the Rok Cup?
“It’s a very good category that allows to compete at good level without expending too much money, moreover the International Final is a fantastic event, a high-level competition and very well organized. I will come back for sure at the International Final in 2014, too.”

What are your plans as official Vortex driver for 2014?
“I am going to do the same things as I always do, so I am going to continue my training with the Junior Rok category. On next year, as I previously said, other than some KF Junior competitions, I wish to run in the Rok category and aim at winning out in the Rok International Final.”

What are your expectations for the next karting season, when you will run as the Rok Talent Award winner?
“I hope to gain good results, but I have in mind no particular goals since I am aware the KFJ class level is high. No doubt I will improve a lot being part of a such important team.
Personally, I have a dream. I would run in the official Tony Kart racing team. I know that the material of the Kosmic Kart is the same as the Tony Kart’s and the Vortex engines are excellent in both teams, but the Tony Kart colours have a unique charm and fame.”

By winning the Rok Talent, you have made one of your dreams come true. What about making also your dream of running with the official Tony Kart-Vortex colours come true?
“Yes indeed, I would wear the Green, white and red racing suit… if I could choose.”

In your farthest future what do you see?
“ The Renault Formula and the single-seater cars. This is another dream and I do not know if I will be able to realize it. There are many things to accomplish. Daydreaming I like thinking that someday I will compete in the Renault Formula category. ”

Who is your favourite driver, the one who you’ve been drawing your inspiration from?
“Robert Kubica undoubtedly. He is both an excellent driver and a big champion. After his accident he terrifically recovered and shifted from the F1 to the WRC, showing off his talent. I get my inspiration from Kubica, as driver and sportsman.”
